There was a time when scientists thought that the material universe was the only reality – This “common knowledge” was upended when physicists discovered that everything in the universe exists because of energy.
HERE ARE 4 SCIENTIFIC STUDIES DEMONSTRATING HOW CONSCIOUSNESS AFFECTS THE MATERIAL WORLD.
THE PLACEBO EFFECT
Your mind can be a powerful healing tool when given the chance. The idea that your brain can convince your body a fake treatment is the real thing — the so-called placebo effect — and thus stimulate healing has been around for millennia. Now science has found that under the right circumstances, a placebo can be just as effective as traditional treatments.
"The placebo effect is more than positive thinking — believing a treatment or procedure will work. It's about creating a stronger connection between the brain and body and how they work together," says Professor Ted Kaptchuk of Harvard-affiliated Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, whose research focuses on the placebo effect.
How placebos work is still not quite understood, but it involves a complex neurobiological reaction that includes everything from increases in feel-good neurotransmitters, like endorphins and dopamine, to greater activity in certain brain regions linked to moods, emotional reactions, and self-awareness. All of it can have therapeutic benefit. "The placebo effect is a way for your brain to tell the body what it needs to feel better," says Kaptchuk.
THE HEART AND ELECTROMAGNETIC EXPERIMENTS
Many believe that conscious awareness originates in the brain alone. Recent scientific research suggests that consciousness actually emerges from the brain and body acting together. A growing body of evidence suggests that the heart plays a particularly significant role in this process.
Far more than a simple pump, as was once believed, the heart is now recognized by scientists as a highly complex system with its own functional “brain.”
The most prolific electromagnetic forces in the human body occur in and around the heart. Using spectral analysis, researchers discovered encoded emotional information embedded in the electromagnetic field surrounding the heart.
When emotions shift, this encoded information changes. As a result, scientists continue to study the ramifications of such a profound discovery – including how this powerful force is felt and interpreted by those around us; specifically, how emotions such as compassion, empathy, love and understanding can be used to make positive changes in us and others.
NSA/CIA REMOTE VIEWING EXPERIMENTS
In conjunction with Stanford University, scientists at both the NSA and CIA have demonstrated the ability of individuals to describe the appearance of remote geographical locations several hundred thousand miles away.
One participant was able to visualize the specific rings around Jupiter before pictures of it were taken by NASA and made public. In another experiment, participants were able to see people and objects that were located in different rooms with no point of reference.
CONSCIOUSNESS AND THE DOUBLE SLIT INTERFACE PATTERN
It's impossible to explain this one without some heavy background information but I'll do my best.
In modern physics, the double-slit experiment is a demonstration that light and matter can display characteristics of both classically defined waves and particles; moreover, it displays the fundamentally probabilistic nature of quantum mechanical phenomena. - Wikipedia
Dr. Dean Radin and the Institute of Noetic Sciences (IONS) have been running a special version of the physics Double Slit experiment to test the role of consciousness in the physical world.
Dr. Radin's version is important because for almost a hundred years scientists have been debating the role of consciousness in the results of the Double Slit experiment, which is the basis for quantum physics.

In this experiment, a double-slit optical system was used to test the possible role of consciousness in the collapse of the quantum wave-function. The ratio of the interference pattern double slit spectral power to its single slit spectral power was predicted to decrease when attention was focused toward the double slit as compared to away from it. The study found that factors associated with consciousness “significantly” correlated in predicted ways with perturbations in the double slit interference pattern.
In layman's term when the people participating concentrated on a slit it got the most interaction with the particles ESPECIALLY when those people were meditators.
The quantum double slit experiment is a great example of how consciousness can affect our physical material world.
“Observations not only disturb what has to be measured, they produce it. . . . We compel [the electron] to assume a definite position. . . . We ourselves produce the results of measurement.”
As you can see consciousness or factors associated with consciousness (observation, measurement, thinking, intention) have a direct correlation with what we perceive to be our physical material world.
